Big News for the Metro East Region

Besides some awesome Ultimate, some big news came out of Columbus this past weekend for our region. Pitt represented our section well by going on a tear of victories that got them into the Quarterfinals against Carleton (Whom they almost beat to get to the Semis). Also, from the Metro East, Cornell also played well by advancing to the pre-Quarters against Pitt. 

What does all this mean? The Metro East's strong finish gives them an additional "strength" bid into Nationals next year. So instead of 2 teams,  3 teams get bids next year.

This is just another reason for the Goats to keep fighting to get to that second level of the College series because all you'd need is one hard push at Regionals and we could find ourselves playing at College Natties.
